100Pillar (Product of Softive)

In the former Longvek1 capital in 16th
century, there was a King, Preah Ang Chan
Reachea or Preah Ang Chan Ty Muoy2, who
reigned from 1516 until 1566. In historical
records, he was reputed for his architecture
of Longvek capital about 70km from Phnom
Penh along National Route 5. Longvek capital
located on the west bank of Tonle Sap River
and is near Chhnok Trou. The capital was built
within two years from 1527-1529. His reign
was known to be one of the most glorious
times in Cambodian history.
